• 1974 - United Commercial Agencies Ltd. (UCA) established as an insurance agent for major European and US insurers (AGF, UAP, and Chubb).
• 1978 - Cooperation agreement with A&A (now AON) for the risk management of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu.
• 1981 - UCA issued its first medical insurance policy.
• 1992 - UCA Insurance Company a 97 % owned entity established in Bahrain to write the Saudi portfolio.
• 2002 - UCA awarded the best medical insurer by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce.
• 2007 - Establishment of United Cooperative Assurance Co. as per the Royal Decree.
• 2007 - Gross premiums reached 473 million with over 54% net retained
• 2008 - IPO of the new company completed.
